Wally Waddle’s tail wagged askance
his master’s voice bragged his stance
Master puffing pleased pectorals
proud as a prizewinning general
posturing puppy’s perfect performance!
‘Oh, how far he’s come,’ Master said
‘he deserves a drum roll, and to be fed!
a jocular journey
deserving beef jerky
frisbee, fetch and off to bed, sleepyhead’.
