The perfect words

writing, the perfect words, The perfect words always strike,
when the might of the pen is far from sight
Should the thick of slumber, flurry or conversation
be punctuated with ‘excuse me, you inspired a sensation?’
Our mind parallels a wordsmith lottery
the phrases stream a stylish, passionate story!
But when we make time for writing
nothing inciting invites or is biting
The letters quiver at the editor’s knife
Oh to write, it is no ordinary life

  1. I seem to have an opposite problem: so much to write about, too few quiet moments to let the words spill out. You always put a fun twist in your words. Love it.
