Once upon a time those hard-wired to focus on the negative, rescued ‘optimists’ from dangerous predators. ‘Optimists’ made the world joyous, but oblivious to harm, often got eaten. As they passed through time, despite effort by the ‘pessimists’, few ‘optimists’ survived.
Now with the modern predators of stress, worry and guilt, ‘optimists’ long to save ‘pessimists’. But a third category exists, who don’t judge moments magnificent or terrible. They don’t judge at all. They relish the wonder of the world, accept what they cannot change and love every moment their happy hearts beat.

I agree! Love the colours in the picture, too.

I do love that third category. Too negative – too perky, give me just right.

So beautiful and true. I’d like to think I fall into that last group, the one that doesn’t judge. Well, unless I see a typo; )

I agree, always positive! After years poisoning myself being extremely pessimist, I can say changing my perspective also changed my entire life!

I agree LHN, the third one is a very desirous place to be, a sort of combination of the other two with pessimism as a lesser quality I would think.

Or a total absence of either, without judgement, just happy to be alive.
